While the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s jurisdiction in Rogers and Mayes counties only encompasses 81 square miles, we are committed to providing career and workforce opportunities for Tribal citizens in these areas. The MCN Employment and Training Office encourages and develops citizens in a variety of ways, from assisting with job searches and career assessments to developing workforce employability skills.
In order to further encourage economic development, the Employment and Training Office also assists businesses that are relocating or expanding with job and employment fairs. In 2017, the MCN hosted a job fair for Sofidel, the Italian tissue company that is expanding in the Inola area. We understand a strong workforce pipeline is integral to attracting new businesses to Oklahoma, and we are dedicated to doing our part.
